PROJECT 2:17
“Respect everyone, and love the family of believers. Fear God, and respect the king.” 1Pet. 2:17 (NLT)

Our culture is divided. Our churches are divided, both interdenominationally and within individual congregations. How can we as Christians be a redemptive presence of God in the present world of accusation and denial, of depriving and belittling on one hand, and entitlement on the other? What does it mean to embrace Christ and represent His redemptive mission in the place we find ourselves? How can we be known for something other than what we are against?

All are welcome to join a four-week Bible study and discussion at St. Paul’s E.C. Church, Rothsville, PA, led by the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Miller, Pastor of St. Paul’s ECC, and retired professor of Christian Theology at Evangelical Seminary, Myerstown. Sessions will be held on successive Sunday evenings, beginning at 7:00 p.m., and lasting approximately one hour. The purpose of the study is to listen carefully to one another and to the words of Scripture, trusting the Holy Spirit to guide into the truth that sets us free to live well as Christ’s ambassadors in this time and place.
